    Some years ago an instructor showed how to do INLAY using turquoise he just crushed it and took the powder and sprinkled it in the crack where he had put super glue and kept doing super glue and the crushed powder until the crack, or hole was filled then when dry used sand paper to clean it up worked...

    The usps has boxes which are triangular shaped which golf clubs are sent in often and can be taped together to gain more length if need be, they are called "Medium Tube 1098" and USPS will send them to you FREE... 38 inches long.. Some of the larger post offices may have some on hand.....

    A little advice on carving, always know where your blade is going, when it slips it could cut you badly. Always use your fingers and or wrist to power the blade. If you use your arm to push or pull the blade this could be dangerous..

    My opinion is what ever you use for reading is what to use for carving, this works for me.. Headband magnifierS, I only use them for very fine and detailed work, some electronic work I do requires this, as a lot of others say the headband magnifiers are not comfortable for long periods of time..
