    Looks good. What is timber oil? I've been using Superdeck natural which I think is mostly thinned down linseed oil or mineral oil.

    Last year our big pine tree died and we had a guy take it down for us last June. He left it 9½ feet tall for me as I wanted to carve a bear out of it.

    I got it cut down to about 7 feet tall, thinking that a 9 foot bear would be very skinny since my tree is only about 24 inches in diameter....

  • the hole is in the core of the tree presumably caused by bugs. As far as I can tell at this point it runs to the bottom of the tree right down the middle. I believe I can patch or fill the core with fiberglass after carving. My biggest question is do you cut a groove in the back of the tree before or...

    Got to ask , is it planted DEEP into the Ground or a Chain on it ? If not don't be surprised that some day when you get up it will be gone.

    there are 9 gnomes scattered around too, a couple inside the houses.



    5 solar panels to run 2 lights each in the houses and 2 copper string lights for the steps.
