Not bump head with Brian, but I used the fine grade, washed well to get rid of any oils put a pad in about a pint of vinegar let it sit for a week strained it. If you look at any of my latest carving the background is using the solution, I also use a mixture of 1teaspood of Tannins mixed with 300...

I can't remember the person's name, but Dockyard was bought out and you can still get their knives. II have both and use them all the time, but I bought 2 Drake knives and they are my go-to macro now.

Just kidding Pam has said anything, but I always try to do something for Valentine's Day. I just could seem to get the one I was working on done, but finished it yesterday, & cranked this one out today.

Well I sloped some paint around
Used acrylic paint and fingernail polish. The iron acetate/tannins solution for background, a dab of Mod Podge Dimensional magic on the eyes.
