Re: ~~ A Lazy Pampered Cat ~~
Steev, I tried the way you said and after the click on the new tab
nothing happened. I guess I\'ll just have to wait some more, but
I thank you for letting me know that it is the glitch. Also got a lot
of the slash marks like I see on...

Re: ~~ A Lazy Pampered Cat ~~
That looks like a pretty neat carving. But when I click on it to
enlarge it, my screen gets black. I\'m not sure if it is the forum at fault, or if it is my computer. I\'ve been having problems with it so I took it in to get it fixed and they removed...Last edited by Ray S. S.; 04-29-2015, 09:28 AM.

Re: First Carved Lovespoon
That looks pretty nice, Jillsy, I enjoy doing the Celtic knots, too. I never use a back

Re: An Angel
Thanks, jangler, She had a real pleasantly surprised look on her face when she first saw
it. It made me feel good to see that she liked it so well.

Re: A couple of letter Openers
Joe, I have never seen any blood wood so am unfamiliar with it. The rosewood is super
hard and will take quite a sharp edge. I do both edges and after the final sanding it has
quite a sharp edge. After a couple coats of polyurathane it...

A couple of letter Openers
A friend works in a small factory where they make musical instruments and he
gave me some small strips of Brazilian Rosewood. They are 20" long by 3 and
a half to 4" wide and 3/16 " thick. Due to their thinness, about the only thing I
can carve out of them is letter...

Re: ~ ~ Old Timey Pickup ~ ~
Wow, that is pretty nice. It shows a lot of work and care involved. Those little people
in the first pic look like real happy characters. A person can't help but smile just looking
at them. A very appealing set and your grandson will enjoy...

Re: An Angel
Thanks, Rick. I searched around for a while and never did find wings that really suited me
so I reshaped one design and used it. With wanting to do all the feathers like that it was kind of tricky finding a pattern that would work out for me. I use Xacto knives...
