Great star, Serhii! You obviously have a talent for carving. Keep posting your work so we can enjoy your progress.

Merle, that cane is a masterpiece, artistic as well as practical. Some pieces make a connection with you that transcends cash value, in other words, it's a keeper!...

Bob, that is thoughtfully designed and beautifully carved. Congratulations on a fine fantasy piece. I have a piece of bark my brother gave me a couple of years ago, but I haven't been able to decide what to do with it. You've inspired me to give it another look!

Anders, sometimes "quick and easy" is very satisfying. I like the feathers, as others mentioned I thought of "eagle" when I saw them, so that's a successful carving!...

Well, I hesitate to "bite the hand that feeds me" by sponsoring this forum, but I'll add my two cents worth (adjusted for inflation, worth about zero).
After several years of subscribing, I did not renew. WCI just does not fit my needs, as I'm not interested in carving caricatures,...

It's a shame we lost so many photos and pictures from the hack. I really like to go back and see all the faces that go with the names we all know...but I wonder why there are so many no longer on the site, folks that contributed so much.
