Thanks for the replys, I remeber reading somewhere that people were using a flap wheel sander for the foredom/dermel to finish sand their whimscal houses? anyone ever use something like this?

How do you finish cottonwood bark? Whats the best way to sand it and whats the best finish?

Anthony, I have only cut 2" and 3" blocks so far. I'm trying to do a couple pieces from Mike Shipley's The Country Bear & his friends and Country Folk books... I wish could find someone that sells the cutouts. I have the books but I'm having problems with...

Bill, Your right... I cant find the Timberwolf in a 3/16 4 tooth skiptooth but it looks like the Olsen gets very good reviews also, that might be the way to go. THANKS for all the input.
