First Spoon Knife
I'm looking to buy a hook knife for making spoons and small bowls/Kuksa, I'm leaning toward Morakniv, but I'm at a loss when it comes to their sizing/numbering system. Any recommendations?

Re: Do YOU remember?!
These are similar... Is that a little lathe!?... Mine didn't have that
These all seem to be collector priced! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled now that I know where to look. Looking at all these, I can't help but think kids are losing out on something with...

Do YOU remember?!
I am killing myself today looking for a "toy" on the Internet. When I was around 5 my grandfather brought me home this great little woodworking toy, it had a tiny bandsaw, a belt sander, disc sander (all part of one assembly) and I think it came with the wood burner too (but he may have gave...

Re: Missing Something…
You know, it was intended to be a dress, so I figured she'd didn't need feet, but now that you say it, some feet and a little ankle showing might do the trick. Maybe even just some shoes poking out and of her dress bunched up over them would...

Re: Proud of My Third Effort
Just thought I would/should update this post: I was making a rough guess at this guys dimensions previously (wasn't sitting right in front of me, and I never really measured the piece when I started). He is actually a full 2" tall. That is all. 😄...

Re: Forum Subcategory Suggestion
That's why I'm not sure folk art would be the proper title…I'm referring to things that typically don't involve a living creature (human or otherwise), nor structures (cottonwood bark houses)…those all have a proper place on the forum. I'm talking...

Re: attempt at an old salt
It just dawned on me that Old Salt could be turned into a Mario/Luigi pretty easily! The head/hat/mustache are very similar.
