Carving skin tone
I have experimented with different colors of paint to try and get that correct skin tone, but just have not been happy with the results. So I am curious what some of you all may use or do to try and get that realistic skin tone color with paints.

What a busy winter with work and all, have not had much time for carving. I did complete this one finally of the last month when time permitted. Idea for this one came from Lynn Doughty\'s web page. He had a bust of a character similar to this, so here was my touch to it.

Just registered today, only been carving about a year.. I still have a lot of improvements to make. I just can\\\'t get eyes, I have watched some you tube vids on it, if anyone has some ideas or tips to help improve, please let me know. Here are a couple that I have done, at least my favorites.....
