Thank you for all your replies. I've been sanding it all afternoon(probably longer than it took to carve you're right)with a 70 grit and then a 100 grit. Still abit more to go. Your advice has been really helpful....You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Pear wood spoon help
Hi, I'm currently carving a spoon from pear wood. It's going great but the bowl is showing cut marks and I'm struggling to smooth them out. Any advice? My tools are sharp or atleast I think they are.
