It has been awhile since I last posted, but I want my friends on this board to know I am still carving. The carvings are all from roughouts. The red Santa is a Don Durgdorft, The orange Santa Is from a roughout I help a friend design. The third piece is from a Keith Morrell roughout

It has been awhile since I have posted anything, but Iam still trying to do some carving. I am going totry and post several pictures. The firstone was done at Doane with Pete Le Clair. The next two also done at Doane, but with Keith Morrow. The bottle stops I just finished carving.

I think the hat will workout well. Shape it to fit the head, then put a band of fur at its base. I like your santa!

Well, Thanks for all the nice comments. Sorry this Santa got away before I took a picture. I had no intention of parting with him. I had him on display on my table at our club show.This young lady saw it and told me she wanted it in her collection. I told I did not...

One of my Santa has moved to a new home in Addison IL. That home also has a Callynne and Nancy G Santa living there. Makes me very proud to have my Santa in with those great carvings.
