Thanks guys He is one piece of wood (bass) and is 14 inches tall x 6" x 4". In my time off I started doing watercolors and I had forgotten how Acrylic darkens as it drys, compared to watercolor getting lighter. So I just feel his brown...

Very,very carefully I just finished my first carving after a 3 year break and had to get a feel for the tools again. Eight stitches from a slip with the v-tool! Made me feel like a carver again,lol.
