Re: pattern tracing
They make white transfer paper for dark woods. I got some from Hobby Lobby. I am sure other craft stores carry it also.

Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap
Hi Ho,
I asked and of course the response I got was..."I don't remember and I always deliver mail to the proper place." What a joke!
Mike,
I did not mean for you to make another one. I was just letting you know...

Re: 2007 Christmas Ornament swap
I keep checking the mail every day but still have not received ornament from MDWine. Our mail carrier is good about putting the wrong mail in peoples boxes. So, somebody in my area has a great ornament from Mike.
This swap has been so much fun....

Re: Quick whittled giveaways
Tom,
Those are wonderful. I can see why the kids like them so much. I may have to try to find those waiting rooms you go to because I am just a big kid. Bless you for what all you do. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Leather Purse Completed
Wow! You did a great job on that. I do agree the stitching seems to stick out a little. Great design. Beautiful piece.

Re: deer antlers
Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. I have a respirator for power carving and use it faithfully. Hopefully, I can get something done in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again,

deer antlers

Re: oops, I did it again( more ornaments)
Gary,
I think they are all great and each seems to have his own personality. I agree with Marci...wish my oopsies turned out half as well as yours.

Re: permanent markers for stripes
Jonah,
I have used Sharpie brand with Minwax poly and it didn't bleed. But, when I used Deft over the Sharpie, it bled. I found a marker used for scrapbooking with no acid that works fine with either poly or Deft. I use them to sign and date mostly,...

Re: men
I like them both, but I like the man the best. I agree with Ash, he looks like Walter Mathau. Great job on both.
