Hello Mark, thanks for letting me know that. I did not know you and the other carvers went through that. Sorry to hear that. All I know is that I have your video of Carving a Civil War Bust and I really enjoyed it. I also have one of Gary Falin´s Santa and one of Wayne Shinlever´s on a carving...

I understand that CarvingVideos.com is no longer in business. I was just wondering if anyone knows if any of Dave's videos are available anywhere else? John

Carving video of a cowboy
Just was wondering if anyone had a good video on carving a cowboy that they may want to sell? I see there are some videos on youtube, but I am looking more for a specific video such as Wayne Shinlever's cowboy video. His site his down so just was curious if anyone knows where else this video might...

Well said Mike. They are good, hardworking people who put out a top of the line quality product. Yes, they are build to order, but it is well worth the time. You will not be disappointed!

Did you find the Fox?
Since this issue\'s deadline is over for finding the Fox, I thought I\'d ask if anyone had found it? We looked and looked and could not find it this time.

Holdiay Bear
Hello, I haven't posted anything for quite some time so here is a patriotic bear for the upcoming 4th celebration. It is a Mike Shipley design, basswood, 6" tall, acrylic paint, sealed with Watco Danish oil and Krylon spray. I think the hardest part was painting the stripes. Happy upcoming 4th...

Re: WCI Pinewood Derby Issue
Bob,
Nice looking car you built. I was lucky too to have a car my son Jess and I built featured on page 20. It is the go-kart style car. Once again Fox Chapel put out a great Pinewood Derby issue!

Re: Glove suggestions?
Riddus,
There really is nothing that will 100% guarantee you from a carving accident besides just not carving. I have had different Kevlar carving gloves over the years and they would work for their intended purpose meaning they are cut resistant...

Re: New tool tote
Dave,
No, I did not get the cover. I would like to make some kind of vinyl cover for it though. We'll see.

New tool tote
A few days ago I received my medium sized tool tote from woodcarverstooltote.com. Some of you asked me to post some pictures when I got it. Of course I had to load it up with tools so here are some pictures. I am impressed with it. It is well built. I would recommend it if you would rather buy...

Re: Making a Tool Tote
Woodeneye,
I went back and forth about making my own tool tote. I did make a tool rack for in home use. I also have a bucket box tool carousel that works nice. I use it mostly for my full size tools though. I really wanted some kind of tote to...

Re: Tool tote size?
Thanks everyone for your comments. It will help me decide which one to get. Someone had privately messaged me and I accidently deleted it before responding. Is there a way to look at deleted messages or bring them back? If not, I apologize to the person who messaged...

Tool tote size?
Just looking for some opinions. I'm looking to purchase a tool tote from Bob Clarke at Woodcarvers Tool Totes. I would like something more efficient to haul and use tools to our woodcarving meetings. I've just been using a large plastic tool box. I've got palm gouges in a tool roll which I just...
