Great carving Rick. I have found this issue of the colors not showing up correctly on my digital camera also. It has to do with the cameras interpolation (interpretation) of what it sees. Sparkley reflections are perceived by the optic chip processors...

You can buy basswood in much larger blocks. Generally speaking basswood over 16/4 (4") thick is expensive.

When I get senseless forwarded mail I add the sender to my Spam blocker. It works wonders and only takes one click.

On the serious side you have to be very careful opening forwarded email. If someone along the way has a virus or spyware...
